Duties & Responsibilities of Our Auto Techs

When you have a career at our service center, there is a range of duties and responsibilities you’ll have that include the following:

Let the service advisor know if you need to do any extra work, if you don’t need to conduct all the work in the outline of the repair order, and if you can’t finish the tasks within the time we promise to the customer.
Document all the work you perform and conduct a road test to ensure that the repair has addressed the complaint.
Take training courses regularly.
Stay aware of technical factory bulletins.
Follow all housekeeping and safety policies/procedures.
Have a solid understanding of and follow the local, state, and federal regulations governing service repair work.

The dispatcher will provide you with repair orders that you take to the stall area.
Conduct the tasks that are outlined on the order accurately and efficiently in a manner that aligns with the standards of the factory and dealership.

Reach out to the Parts Department so that you get the necessary parts.
Tag and save any parts that are switched out for a return, especially if this job is under warranty or if your customer requests you to do so.
