2017 Chevy Traverse Is A Hit With Concord Area Chevrolet Dealers
The 2017 Chevrolet Traverse is a three-row crossover SUV that’s ideal for large families. It can seat seven or eight passengers and is roomy enough to hold lots of cargo. At the same time, the Traverse features nimble handling that makes it easier to maneuver than a traditional truck-based SUV. Chevrolet Dealers near Concord believe that when you see the Traverse for yourself, you’ll understand why it’s a great choice.
There are three trim levels available: LS, LT and Premier. The LS trim is divided into Base and LS sub-trims, and the LT is divided into 1LT and 2LT versions. Front-wheel drive is standard across the lineup, and all-wheel drive is available on the LT and Premier trims.
The 2018 Chevrolet Traverse is powered by a standard 3.6-liter V6 block that’s good for an impressive 281 horsepower and 266 lb.-ft. of torque, mated to a standard six-speed automatic transmission. The Premier trim features dual exhaust outlets that boost the output to 288 hp and 270 lb.-ft. of torque.
EPA-estimated fuel economy checks in at 18 mpg combined (15 city/22 highway) for the Traverse with front-wheel drive and 17 mpg combined (15 city/22 highway) when equipped with all-wheel drive.*
Kelley Blue Book wrote: “The Traverse's ride is smooth, its handling predictable and its braking strong. The optional all-wheel drive not only improves traction in snow and rain, but also helps with dry-road cornering …”
